Mission

Strengthening the justice field

Consult-Ed Solutions, Inc. strengthens the justice field through training, program development and evaluation, for justice-involved individuals and the professionals and systems that serve them.

Vision

Tend the root, and the field changes.

A justice field where professionals ask what happened to a person rather than what is wrong with them, and where that one question changes what becomes possible for clients, practitioners and communities.

Where we work

Across the systems that touch the same people

One person often moves through several of these in a year. Working across all four is how the practice stays consistent for them.

An empty cell block corridor, rows of barred doors receding into the distance

Probation and justice services

Officers, supervisors and the teams around them, including the people carrying the largest caseloads.

Substance use treatment

Residential and outpatient settings, where relapse is treated as information rather than failure.

Rehabilitative and reentry facilities

Programs preparing people to leave, and the staff who hold that transition with them.

Youth-serving systems

Services working with young people already known to the justice system, and the adults around them.

The team

Who you will work with

Every engagement is led by Dr. Beausejour, working with a team of licensed clinicians, program evaluators and curriculum designers.
